LT 24 August 1995. A claim for compensation for depreciation in value of a house following the opening of the M40 was barred by Land Compensation Act 1973 s8 as compensation had already been paid for a claim by the present claimant`s company for the acquisition of land for construction of the motorway and injurious affection to the residue of the holding, of which the house was a part.
