In Mulder v Minister van Landbouw en Visserij , European Court of Justice 28 April 1988, a milk producer induced by the EEC to suspend the marketing of milk for a period of five years was entitled to expect that at the end of the period he would not be subject to these restrictions because he had made use of possibilities offered by Community rules.
