According to the latest survey of bank lending, complied by Chesterton in conjunction with Thames Polytechnic, the majority of lenders (41%) thought that a change to a Labour government at the next election would cause the property market to deteriorate. 40% said that a Conservative government would improve market prospects, despite its recent problems.
