First part of a workshop paper presented to the AIVLE 10th Triennial Congress held in Perth in May 1991. Examines the problems arising from leases with special requirements for rent review periods which differ from what is normal for the property type. A simple, accurate and effective method of calculating rental equivalents is demonstrated and discussed. (Australian practice)
