New research consultancy on environmental management

Central and Local Government Environmental Forum comprising of the SOS for Environment and representatives of local authority associations at its second meeting agreed to establish a joint consultancy to consider European draft proposals on Environmental Management in the local authority field. The SOS and local authority leaders have agreed a joint mission statement setting out common objectives for promoting good environmental practice. Copy attached.
