"Land v Sykes and another" CA 11 October 1991, an appeal by defendant tenant`s executors over validity of Case E and Case G notices to quit. Landlord argued that following S`s death, the Case G notice had ended the executors right to possession. On the other hand, the executors who had continued paying rent, argued that a Case E notice was valid and that the tenancy had been terminated and that they enjoyed a right to possession with the protection of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986. Appeal dismissed.
