Lenders` perspectives on environmental issues

Healy, P.R.

Lenders` perspectives on environmental issues - 1992 - Appraisal Journal 60(3) July 1992, 394-398(5) .

A survey of banks of various sizes reveals that lenders are aware of environmental issues as they relate to properties and that contamination does not appear to discount a bank`s interest in lending on a specific property. Banks do require a more stringent due diligence process in such cases, however. Journal abstract. Survey conducted 4Q 1990 in the United States.
