CA 3 October 1988. An appeal against the SoS`s refusal of planning permission for a business park was dismissed and leave to appeal to the House of Lords was refused. The SoS`s grounds for refusal, that the business park would have major implications for the area and the local planning authority should have the opportunity of using the local plan process to determine the best location for the development, were held to be good.
