Upheld the decision of the CA that second defendant and their guarantor were liable to pay rent arrears incurred when the company to whom the premises were assigned in 1989 went into liquidation in 1992. The lease had been assigned to the second defendant in 1987, they argued that they had determined the lease in 1989.
