In Westminster CC v Qureschi and another ChD 22 February 1990 it was held that compulsory purchase powers were duly exercised within the requisite period of three years from the date on which compulsory purchase orders became operative, by service of notices under Compulsory Purchase (Vesting Declarations) Act 1981.
