LT 26 April 1989. An appeal by an occupier of a shop (A) in Wigan against the decision of lvc confirming an assessment of £400 gv, £306 rv. The point at issue is whether there should be a reduction for the condition of an access road which is not fully made up. A claimed a 25% reduction for "loss of business incurred`. LT agreed with A`s claim; the shop`s takings were down 11% after the road deteriorated but they felt that 25% was too big a reduction. The value was set at £375 gv £286 rv.
