Discusses the unreported decision in Ralphs v Francis Horner and Son , in which the plaintiff purchased a listed building in need of repair and modernisation. Though it was held that all four professional defendants owed a duty of care to the plaintiff and all were in breach of that duty, the plaintiff`s claim to damages failed.
