In Skeet and Another v Powell-Sheddon , CA 19 May 1988, the landlord opposed the tenant`s application for a new tenancy under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 s30(1)(g) . The tenant contended that the landlord would be occupying the premises only through her husband as his agent, therefore not satisfying the requirements of the Act. CA disagreed and appeal by tenant dismissed.
