"Mortgage Corporation Ltd v Nationwide Credit Corporation Ltd" CA 14 May 1993. In dismissing the defendant`s appeal, the court held that an entry in the Land Registry`s register of title, protecting a later charge against subsequent interests, did not grant priority over an earlier, unregistered charge.
