In Camden London Borough Council v SoS for the Environment and Others , QBD 26 May 1988, QBD allowed the council`s appeal to quash a previous decision by the SoS. The SoS had allowed an appeal against the council by the second defendants, who claimed that their proposal to erect cottages alleged to have been demolished as a result of war damage , was exempt from planning permission .
