In Coronation Street Industrial Properties Ltd v Ingall Industries plc , HL 16 March 1989, it was held that a covenant by a surety to accept a lease replacing a lease disclaimed on behalf of an insolvent tenant, is a covenant which touches and concerns the land so that the benefit of the covenant runs with the reversion.
