BFG Bank AG v Brown & Mumford Ltd - 1996 - New Property Cases [1996] NPC 153(2) .

CA 30 October 1996. Appeal by defendant surveyors against QBD decision 2 February 1995 (WB3108-44) in which the plaintiff bank was awarded damages on the basis that it had entered into a loan transaction based on defendant`s valuation letter which stated there was `a reasonably high chance of successful planning permission` to convert the property into a 100 bedroomed hotel. Appeal dismissed. NOTE:- NO PHOTOCOPYING ALLOWED.
