"McManus Development Ltd v Barbridge Properties Ltd and another" CA 31 March 1992. Solicitors instructed by the plaintiff purchaser (M) were guilty of negligence in failing to provide a land registry file plan of the freehold, the extent of which had been misrepresented by B, the defendant, thus causing expense and delay in its redevelopment.
