The Court of Appeal has granted McDonalds permission to open a hamburger restaurant in Hampstead overturning Camden LBC opposition on the grounds that planning permission for a restaurant extension by the previous owner in 1988 had lapsed. The case is expected to be discussed at public inquiry in November 1992.
