The National Joint Consulting Committee for Building`s (NJCC)`s "Guidance Note 6 _ Collateral warranties" (RIBA Publications £6) discusses the use and abusage of collateral warranties. The Joint Standing Committee of Architects, Surveyors and Building Contractors has published its own guidance note for Scotland. Launch of the British Property Federation`s (BPF) form of collateral warranty has been delayed due to pressure from the Association of British Insurers.
