Newbury District Council v SoS Environment and another , QBD 30 June 1987. When an appeal to the High Court against a decision of the SoS Environment was successful and the matter remitted to the secretary of state with the opinion of the court for rehearing, the effect was that the whole of the decision was reopened for determination.
