"Mainwaring and another v Henry Smith`s Charity Trustees (No 2)" CA 3 October 1996. A tenants` collective section 6 notice (under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987), accepting a landlord`s offer of a right to buy, was not valid as it did not have at least five out of eight of the tenants` signatures. Appeal dismissed.
