Attorney-General v Barratt (Manchester) Ltd and another , ex relator Scotland Barratt (Manchester) Ltd v Bolton MBC CA 19 June 1991. A planning agreement between the developer and the council to develop land, which in 1934 had been part of a planning agreement to restrict development , was allowed to proceed as the earlier planning agreement could not be declared still valid when the council had made such representations to the developer.
