In "R v Brent LBC ex parte Awua" CA 25 March 1994, it was held that in public sector housing of a homeless person it was relevant to take into account the fact that the local authority had accepted the full obligation under Housing Act 1985 s65 to provide permanent housing for the applicant, even if the accommodation in question was merely a staging post to that end.
