Since the Mobile Homes Act 1983 came into force it has becomeapparent that there are very large gaps in the protection it offers mobile homeowners. This article summarises the main areas where difficulties arise such as rent control , site licence enforcement, site owners obligations, the sale and conveyancing of mobile homes and most importantly, thein effectiveness of the courts and considers possible reform of the law.
