In "Maltedge Ltd v Wokingham DC; Frost v Wokingham DC" QBD 12 May 1992, it was held that in order to successfully prosecute an offence under s179 of Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for failing to comply with an enforcement notice, it is essential for the information alleging the beach to point out the date by which the enforcement notice had to be complied with.
