The Loss Prevention Council has issued a "Code of Practice for the Construction of Buildings", insurers` rules for fire protection of industrial and commercial buildings. It`s aim is to reduce the insurance industry`s bill for loss of property thorough fire. All major insurers and underwriters are expected to adopt the LPC code. Discusses implications for developers.
