The author examines in some depth a selection of the clauses of GC/Works/1 Edition 3 including 36 dealing with extension of time due to bad weather, 10 relating to design liability and 21 concerned with contractors liability for defects which appear after completion and during specified maintenance period. It is thought a new version, Mark 2 will be published soon.
