CA 16 March 1990. That the chartered surveyor , (G), had provided a negligent valuation was not contested but G appealed against the measure of damages . At issue was whether the respondent finance company could include unpaid interest , at a very high rate, on the mortgage advanced on the basis of G`s valuation. The court dismissed the appeal.
