"Trane (UK) Ltd v Provident Mutual Life Assurance Association" ChD 23 June 1994. 25-year lease on industrial premises granted on 6 January 1982 expressed to run from 28 August 1981 with a ten-year break clause. The tenants`s notice of termination was ineffective as the break clause option was held to run from the 1981 term date rather than the 1982 execution date.
