Hungarian property law amendment postponed - 1993 - Estates News 12(28) December 1993, 6(1) .

Hungarian Law No 78 due to come into effect January 1994 has been postponed. It is being challenged in the Hungarian Constitutional Court. If enacted, the law will revolutionise the leasing and sale of residential property by establishing the principle of open market valuation.
