Fees for planning applications will increase by 15% from 13 January 1994 with a further 15% increase from 3 January 1995 (Town and Country Planning (Fees for Appications and Deemed Applications) (Amendment) Regulations 1993). A consultation paper outlines proposals for allowing planning authorities to set their own fees.
