Banks to seek RICS advice

The RICS is to meet top level Bank of England officials to try to avoid the potential problem of large scale property disposals by banks if there is an upturn in the economy. Fears are growing that the mass disposal of properties now in banks` hands could deepen the recession by depressing property values further.
