"R v Hammersmith and Fulham LBC, ex parte O`Sullivan" QBD 30 October 1991. A judicial review was granted of the council`s decision that the applicant made herself intentionally homeless. After the landlord asked her to leave, she could have remained in the flat until a notice to quit was served but she was unaware of this. The applicant also claimed that she did not have protection under the Rent Acts as a licensee.
