Examines two recent cases Barth v Pritchard and another (Abs 42737) and Romulus Trading Co Ltd v Henry Smith`s Charity Trustees (Abs 43224) which involved the granting of new business tenancies under Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 s30 under which a tenancy can be terminated if the landlord wishes to demolish or reconstruct the premises.
