"South Lakeland DC v SoS Environment and another" QBD 30 November 1992. An application for planning permission to build two houses was refused by the local authority at first instance on the grounds that the dwellings were not for agricultural or forestry purposes and that they did not conform to local plans, but was granted by the inspector on appeal. South Lakeland applied to quash this decision, but the inspector`s reasons were upheld.
