QBD 17 July 1991. Claim by plaintiff estate agents (M) against purchasers (U) for commission for professional services was upheld in part. M claimed an introduction fee of 1% of purchase price . Held that there was no evidence of a concluded contract to pay the commission but that M was entitled to a reasonable fee on the basis of quantum meruit basis, this being 0.25% of purchase price.
