Looks at attempts to automate conveyancing procedures by setting up electronic networking . CLC was set up in 1986 to link local authorities to conveyancers via the Digital national computer network and the Law Society is running a pilot scheme to install terminals in local firms in Lancaster and Morecombe. A Law Society working party is currently looking at the question of transferring conveyancing funds on completion.
