Planning authorities and developers are often in conflict over the level of housing demand and the availability of land . This strife arises from an insufficiency of information on the property market to substantiate the differing ambitions of each party. Conditions in Northern Ireland `s housing market are analysed to establish an inverse land supply model as a means of more clearly explaining the land/ development relationship.
