Royal Commission slams the brakes on `unsustainable` transport policy - 1994 - ENDS Report (237) October 1994, 14-18(5) .

Comments on the main objectives set by the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution in its recent report: integrated land use and transport policies, improved air quality and quality of life, reduction in carbon dioxide emissions and noise nuisance from traffic, reduction in use of non-renewable materials for infrastructure and vehicle industry and encouragement of less damaging modes of transport.
