RICS Business Services reports larger than expected losses; cost savings in other areas reduced year-end loss to £500,000. In General Council on 1 February Jonathan Harris is reported as recommending a £75.00 levy on members to replenish reserves. In the issue of 12 February Jonathan Harris, in a letter in Estates Times analyses RICS trading results and corrects news report by advocating raising Fellows subscriptions to £250.00 rather than a levy on all members.
