Research from Hillier Parker on the retail sector shows a fall in the amount of shopping scheme space under construction to 8.41m sq ft, the lowest figure recorded since 1985. Although the retail sector is suffering, Clive Lewis and Partners` midsummer report shows that there is still more activity in this sector than any other area of commercial property.
