Describes the main provisions of a new Act passed in France which is designed to clarify the rights and liabilities of timesharers. Timeshare properties will now be owned by companies and it will be the ownership of shares in such companies which will give the right to the occupation of a chosen flat for a chosen period of time. In this way timesharers will control the management of their own block of flats. Warns however that adoption of the Act is optional.
