Following a recent CA decision, tenants who move out of premises whilst continuing to pay rent until the lease expires can leave without serving notice under Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 s27. (See Pearl Assurance plc v Esselte AB WB3243-37). Overturns "Long Acre Securities v Electro Acoustic".
