PC 27 February 1995. The defendant (I) owned a hotel of 164 apartments; the plaintiff (H) was lessor of 30 apartments under a 99 year lease. In 1974 I ejected H who then successfully brought proceedings for possession. I did not give up possession until 1990. H claimed mesne profits for that period, was awarded them and appealed. I cross-appealed to the CA of the Bahamas. The award was recalculated and found to be higher. I appealed. Appeal dismissed.
