The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWFN) has called on the EC agriculture ministers to stop financial support for environmentally damaging agricultural projects. It claims that agriculture as directed by the Common Agricultural Policy is the single most important cause of destruction of wildlife habitat in the Community.
