"Estates Governors of Alleyns College of God`s Gift at Dulwich v Williams and another" ChD 14 January 1994. Planning permission for a garage had been granted. Withheld consent from estate governors controlling the management scheme of the private housing estate was found by the arbitrator to be unreasonable. ChD found the proper test had not been applied; the test should have been whether a reasonable estate manager would have refused consent, not whether the arbitrator himself would have refused. Remitted to arbitrator.
