In Sweet v SOS for the Environment QBD 24 January 1989 an application changing the validity of an SSSI on the grounds that only part of the site was of national importance and that certain operations specified in the order could not be prohibited operations as they were agricultural operations that would not result in some permanent physical alteration to the site, was dismissed.
