Raises the question of the application of Arbitration Act 1950 s27 providing for the extension of contractual time for starting arbitration proceedings at the discretion of the court, to JCT 1980 clause 30.9, which stipulates the commencement of arbitration proceedings within 28 days of the final certificate having been issued.
