In re Offshore Ventilation Ltd , Rhodes and Another v Allied Dunbar Pension Services Ltd and Others CA 9 November 1988 it was held that a notice served by a superior landlord on an undertenant to pay rent directly to him until the mesne landlord`s rent arrears were discharged, was effective.
